1. Tropicals do not like low temperatures. Thus, do not place them in coolers. Always keep them between 64-75°F or 18-24°C in order to preserve vase life.
2. Tropical flowers like fresh water to last longer. Once you unpack them, cut the ends 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5.1 cm) off the stems. Trimming your stems will help them to absorb water more efficiently. Then place them in a vase two-thirds full of cold water.
3. Spray flowers with water at least once a day, in order to ensure long vase life. Tropicals do not only absorb water from the vase but also from their environment.
Footnote: If you don’t need all the flowers immediately, you can keep them in the box.
